“Follow me…” It’s not just a phrase—it’s an invitation.

An invitation that Jesus extends to everyone, at every age and stage of life. A call to participate in the kin-dom of God, to live with compassion, hope, and purpose, and to be part of a movement spreading God’s love and grace.

At Chelsea First UMC, Lifelong Faith Formation means that this invitation doesn’t end with childhood or confirmation. It grows with us—as we explore, question, practice, and deepen our discipleship throughout our lives.

Each Sunday at 9:15 am, the Follow Me curriculum invites us to explore one of 36 practices Jesus embodied, modeled, or taught. We learn where each practice is rooted in Scripture, how it was lived out then and now, and how we can engage it in our own lives. This is about growing in love through practice. Because practice makes better. And following Jesus? It isn’t always easy. But when we commit to the journey—together—we are changed.

Follow Me is part of a broader path of lifelong formation, where spiritual growth is nurtured through every season of life, in community, with curiosity and intention. And on the first Sunday of each month, we come together across generations to celebrate Communion in worship—with youth present for the entire service, fully participating in the sacred rhythm of our shared faith.
