What if church felt less like sitting still and more like discovering?

Starting this September, our children are invited into Shine, a curriculum built around a beautiful idea: that every child can experience the transforming power of God’s love — and carry that light back out into the world.

Children begin worship together with the whole church family, then are dismissed, where they gather in community to hear God’s story, ask their honest questions, and discern together what it all might mean. From there, they head downstairs to explore through rotation stations — music, crafts, games, and time in the quiet Wonder Room — each one inviting faith to be felt, not just heard.

Along the way, Shine nurtures trust in God and gently invites children to follow Jesus, using imaginative, interactive storytelling that brings the Bible to life. Together, children explore what these ancient stories mean for their own lives today, while spiritual practices help cultivate a deep, inner life of the Spirit. And it doesn’t stop there — Shine helps children live out their faith through compassion, peacemaking, and service to others.
