Thursday Afternoon bible Study

Looking for a place to grow in your faith, ask meaningful questions, and connect with others? You’re invited to join us for Thursday Afternoon Bible Study, beginning September 10.
Our first study of the season will be Half Truths: God Helps Those Who Help Themselves and Other Things the Bible Doesn’t Say by Adam Hamilton.
We’ve all heard familiar sayings like “Everything happens for a reason” or “God helps those who help themselves.” They may sound biblical—but are they? In Half Truths, Adam Hamilton takes a thoughtful and engaging look at several common phrases, exploring the truth they contain, where they can lead us astray, and what Scripture actually teaches.
Whether you’ve participated in Bible studies for years or are simply curious and looking for a place to begin, you are welcome. Come as you are, bring your questions, and join the conversation.
