Messy Church – This Zoo Is Not For You!

This session is based on the children’s book “This Zoo is Not for You” by Ross Collins. In the book, a platypus goes to a zoo on the day when the animals are holding “interviews” for new additions. At every stop, the platypus is dismissed as not being worthy of inclusion for some reason. But at the end of the day, all the animals have a chance to reflect on their behavior and begin to regret turning the platypus away. As they reach back out to him they make a shocking discovery!
The session connects with Ephesians 4:1-6 and how we all belong to God.
