🛠 Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Opportunity

Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026
Location: 1353 Rolling Ct., Ypsilanti

Be the hands and feet of Christ by helping build a home for a local family! Chelsea First will be joining the Good News House Habitat for Humanity group for a day of service.

We are looking for 8–10 volunteers to join our team, as well as individuals willing to help provide lunch for the crew. No construction experience is necessary—just a willingness to serve.

How to Get Involved

  • Sign up to volunteer or provide lunch here
  • Or add your name to the sign-up sheet in the social hall
  • Gary Dawes and Karen Woollham are the point people for this event.

If you are not available on May 9, additional build days are scheduled for:

  • Friday, July 31
  • Friday, August 28
  • Saturday, August 29
