Community Good Friday Worship

You are invited to this simple Tenebrae-style service with people from several Chelsea-area churches. Tenebrae is a Latin word meaning “darkness.” While the sanctuary begins in the light, as the service unfolds, candles are extinguished, and the sanctuary grows darker as we near the cross, Jesus’ final moments, and the tomb. The visuals, songs, scripture readings, and prayers will engage all our senses.
