Our 9:00 am service blends heartfelt worship with a casual and family-friendly atmosphere. Each week features diverse musical offerings, from our band that leads the music to strings and a variety of vocalists, creating a dynamic soundscape.
On the first Sunday of each month, children and youth take an active role in leading worship, bringing fresh energy and perspective. Communion is also celebrated on these Sundays, inviting all to share in God’s grace.
11am Worship Service
The 11:00 am service offers a rich blend of sacred music and heartfelt connection. Our vocal choir, handbell ensemble, pipe organ, and piano provide a vibrant musical backdrop, while congregational singing fills the sanctuary with joy.
Lay people and clergy work together to lead prayers, responsive liturgies, and reflections that inspire and uplift. On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate Communion, extending Christ’s invitation to all.
Imagine If…We Really Belong to One Another

Scripture: Romans 12:3-8
What if church is more than a place where we gather? What if it becomes a community where people truly know they belonged?
Paul describes the church as one body made up of many different people, each with unique gifts and an important role to play. Our differences are not obstacles to overcome; they are part of the way God creates a vibrant and faithful community.
This week, we’ll explore what it means to belong to one another—to be known, needed, supported, and invited to use our gifts in service to others. Imagine if no one simply attends church, but everyone knows they have a place and a purpose within it.
Music Ministry
Music Ministry at Chelsea First
At Chelsea First, music is a vital part of how we worship, grow, and serve. Our Music Ministry invites people of all ages to share their gifts in a variety of styles—traditional hymns, anthems, gospel, contemporary praise, and more—all offered to glorify God and inspire our community. As Colossians 3:16 reminds us: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly… with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with gratitude in your hearts to God.”
Sanctuary Choir
The Sanctuary Choir leads worship at the 11 am service from September–May and sings for special events such as Hometown Holidays and Christmas Eve. Open to high school students and adults, the choir shares God’s love through music while enjoying community and fellowship. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 10:15 am.
Rezound Handbell Choir
Rezound Handbell Choir rings five octaves of bells and chimes, offering music monthly at the 11 am service and for special events from September–May. No prior ringing experience is required, though music-reading skills help. Rehearsals are Sundays, 12–1 pm, in the Handbell Room.
