What Are Christian Options for Change, Protest, or Resistance?
A 5-Week Lecture & Discussion Series | Sundays, 10–11 a.m. | Room 207
In times of tension or injustice, how should people of faith respond? What does our Christian tradition say about protest, resistance, and the pursuit of change?
Join us for a five-week series facilitated by Gene Utke, exploring biblical teachings, Methodist principles, and the moral questions surrounding Christian approaches to conflict and social change. Each session will include both a lecture and guided discussion, helping us reflect on what it means to live faithfully in a complex world.

Feb 15 – Current Methodist Social Principles on Non-Violence, War, and Protest
Feb 22 – The Christian Just War Concept: Is It Still Relevant Today?
March 1 – Civil Disobedience: Is It Christian?
March 8 – Is “Might Makes Right” Ever Christian? Personal Stories of Standing on Moral Ground
