Monday Night Bible Study

September 22 @ 6:45 pm - 8:15 pm

Monday Night Bible Study – a new season begins!

You are invited to be a part of the Monday Night Bible Study this fall. Participants will study the New Testament book of Acts, using the study book Acts: Catching Up with the Spirit by Prof. Matthew L. Skinner.

The Acts of the Apostles is a unique and crucial book that chronicles the story of God’s grace flooding out to the world through the lives of the apostles in the decades immediately following Christ’s ascension into heaven.
Author and biblical scholar Matthew Skinner provides a broad and insightful introduction to this important book and its story of the early church learning to bear witness about God’s work through Jesus Christ.
This study will ignite our imagination about the character of the Christian message, the work of God’s people (the church), and the challenges of living faithfully in a complex and changing world.

Leadership for Monday Night Bible Study includes Dawn Goellner, Max Plank, Joy Barrett, and various members of the group.

The Monday Night Bible Study is a hybrid group – you may participate in-person or by Zoom.
The group will meet 6:45-8:15 pm. Please sign up, letting the leaders know you intend to participate; it is so helpful for the leaders when you sign up rather than simply show up.
You may sign up Sundays in-person at the Connections Table in Grams Hall, by contacting Max, Dawn, or Joy, or with this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C48ADA629A57-54073824-monday

This class will be Mondays, September 15-October 20, 6:45-8:15 pm. Please order the book from your preferred bookseller and read the introduction and chapter one in preparation for the first session.

We look forward to sharing this time of study and spiritual growth with you! Dawn, Max and Joy
