Chelsea First will provide dinner at the Jackson Interfaith Shelter on Friday, December 13, 2024. We are looking for volunteers to serve this meal.
The dinner will be provided from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. so you would need to be there by 4:15. If you would like to sign up to serve, please contact Lynette Lynch at 517-262-8293.
Another way you can help would be to bake Christmas cookies for dessert. If you would be willing to bake a dozen or so cookies, please get in touch with Lynette.
Jackson Interfaith Shelter was founded in 1974. The shelter’s primary mission is to offer food, shelter, and hope to those in need. If you are unable to participate in this dinner but would still like to help, feel free to use this link to volunteer. Jackson Interfaith Shelter is located at 414 S. Blackstone Street, Jackson, MI. There is a need for childcare, pantry organization, front desk reception, manual labor, group activities, spiritual volunteers, and more.
