Monday Night Study Group

Is there are phrase in a Christmas Carol or song that calls you to pause and wonder?  Many times we sing songs of the season with little thought to the words.  James C. Howell’s book “Why This Jubilee? Advent Reflections on Songs of the Season” invites us to revisit familiar songs of the season.  Howell offers 24 reflections, each focused on a phrase from a seasonal song, with inspiration for our lives today.

Participants will share times of prayer, song, conversation, and community each week of this study.  Together we will soften and expand our hearts, remembering that the God of love who made the universe continues to come to us and among us, giving us reason to rejoice.
