Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Opportunity

Chelsea First is once again part of the Good News House Group with HFH Huron Valley!  Karen Woollams and Gary Dawes are our contact people for involvement this build year.

This is a NEW build, not a rehab, and is the first the Good News Group has done in a number of years.  The house is located in Ypsilanti at 345 Firwood St.  It is a 100 sq. ft. home with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath on a crawl space.

Chelsea First is donating $2,000 and has secured 3 days for our volunteers, 2 half days and 1 full day.  The dates are:  June 8 (4-5 people needed), July 26 (4-5 people needed), and August 24 (8-10 people needed).  If you are interested in volunteering for any or all of the dates, please email Gary Dawes or call Gary at (517) 260-2356
