New study – April 28-June 23 (eight weeks)
Book: Genesis (from the Immersion Bible Studies series) by J. Ellsworth Kalas, Abingdon Press. In this study, the author approaches Genesis as a very personal and almost intimate book. Instead of viewing it as an academic study or as a puzzle to be solved, the author reads Genesis in a very personal, up-close way. This study is designed to help us explore the emotional, spiritual and intellectual needs of our personal faith.
The Immersion Bible Studies series was inspired by the Common English Bible (CEB) translation. Using the CEB is not required for the study; you may use another translation. The church owns many copies of the CEB; if you wish, you may borrow one for the duration of the study, returning it when the study concludes.
The group will be a hybrid experience, both in-person and Zoom. Call the church office for the zoom link if you prefer that method of attending.
