DESCRIPTION:Join Us for a Mission Day with Avalon Housing \nChelsea First is excited to invite you to a meaningful hands-on mission opportunity as we partner with Avalon Housing for a volunteer service day focused on care\, community\, and compassion. \nOn Monday\, May 11th\, we’ll gather at Avalon’s Hilltop View property in Dexter to assist with property beautification—including yard work\, seasonal clean-up\, planting\, and weeding. This is a wonderful way to serve alongside others while helping create a welcoming and dignified environment for residents. \nWe’re hoping to gather 15 volunteers total.  We would love for you to be part of this impactful day.  At this time we have 8 slots left to fill.  Contact Kirk Vantine today! \nEvent Details: \n\nTime: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM\nLocation: Hilltop View\, 7651 Dan Hoey Rd\, Dexter\, MI\nWhat to Wear: Closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (arms and legs covered)\nImportant: All volunteers must complete the Avalon Volunteer Agreement Form prior to arrival\nCarpooling Encouraged: Parking is limited\, so please consider sharing rides\n\nAvalon will provide basic tools like shovels\, rakes\, and gloves. If you’d like to go a step further\, they welcome donations of native plants or landscaping materials to help expand the impact of our work. \nThis is a great opportunity to live out our faith through service\, build relationships\, and make a tangible difference.
