SUMMARY:Soup-er Sunday Speaker Series
DESCRIPTION:Leaving Home\, Seeking Hope: Understanding Why People Migrate \nWhat would it take for you to leave your home\, your community\, and everything familiar in search of a better future? \nThis November\, our Soup-er Supper Speaker Series welcomes Mary Anne Perrone (WCS) to help us explore the stories behind migration. Drawing on her work in Honduras\, Mary Anne will share personal stories and insights into the root causes that compel people to leave their homelands—and how our lives are connected to theirs. \nThrough learning\, conversation\, and a shared meal\, we’ll consider how our faith calls us to respond with greater understanding\, compassion\, and love for our neighbors.

SUMMARY:Parenting Group
DESCRIPTION:For Parents & Caregivers \nParenting takes a village—and we’re grateful to have one! This fall\, we invite all parents and caregivers to join our Parenting Group\, a welcoming space to talk\, listen\, share\, learn\, laugh\, and support one another through the joys and challenges of parenting. \nThis fall\, we’ll explore When Kids Ask Hard Questions\, Volume 2: Faith-Filled Responses for Tough Topics\, edited by Bromleigh McCleneghan and Karen Ware Jackson. \nThis thoughtful collection brings together a variety of short essays from different voices\, offering faith-filled perspectives and practical wisdom for responding when children and teens ask difficult\, complicated\, or unexpected questions. Together\, we’ll reflect\, share our experiences\, and consider how we can create spaces where young people feel safe asking questions and exploring their faith. \nWhat makes this group especially wonderful is the community we have created together—a community grounded in trust\, care\, encouragement\, and the reminder that none of us has to do this alone. \nMondays | 6:30–7:30 PM \nFall Meeting Dates:\nSeptember 14\, 21\, 28\nOctober 5\, 12\, 26\nNovember 2\,16\, 23\, 30\nDecember 7 \n Childcare Provided! \nBring your questions\, your stories\, your successes\, your struggles—and come as you are. Childcare is provided\, so you can have this time to connect and recharge. \n Can’t Join Us In Person? \nNo problem! We’d love to have you join us from wherever you are. SUMMARY:The MomCo of Chelsea
DESCRIPTION:It is no secret that mothers have a tremendous impact on families. The MomCo believes that better moms make a better world\, and we believe the MomCo makes moms better. The MomCo of Chelsea is building circles of women who love each other like family and provide opportunities for moms to grow in their faith. At a typical meetup\, moms will find discussion that gives them practical parenting information\, friendship\, a hot cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast. Even more importantly\, you will be connected to other mothers who are in a similar stage of life as you. MomCo International says : The MomCo (short for Mom Community) — where we mobilize moms all over the world to build life-changing community. We’re convinced that moms are some of the most powerful creatures on the planet. What is the word people use to define powerful things? It is ‘the mother’… the mother of all storms\, the mother of all traffic\, the mother lode. To be a mother is to be a force of nature\, but that doesn’t mean it should be done alone. We saved you a seat. \nThe Mom Co of Chelsea

SUMMARY:Advent Can Still Change the World - Monday Night Bible Study
DESCRIPTION:Monday Evening Bible Study | A Four-Week Advent Study \nWe know the Christmas story. We’ve heard it in carols\, seen it in nativity scenes\, and celebrated it through traditions passed down for generations. But what if this familiar story still has something new to teach us? \nThis Advent\, join our Monday Evening Bible Study as we explore Advent Can Still Change the World by Josh Scott. Together\, we’ll look beyond the familiar images of Christmas to discover the world into which Jesus was born—and why that matters for the world we live in today. \nThrough the Gospel stories of Matthew and Luke\, we’ll explore how the birth of Jesus reveals God’s presence in a world longing for hope\, peace\, and change. \nAdvent isn’t simply about remembering what God did long ago. It’s about recognizing what God is still doing among us today. \nWhether you’ve studied the Christmas story many times or are looking at it with fresh eyes\, you’re welcome to join us for this four-week journey of discovery and reflection.
